Imaging

Further advanced imaging

At your initial appointment with Mr. Senthi, he will have gone through your history, examination and any initial imaging such as x-rays you may have already had. To help with your work-up and guide management of your condition, he may request further advance imaging such as USS, CT, SPECT CT or MRI scans.

This can be requested through our office at one of our local Radiology Providers and may take up to 4 weeks to obtain. Once you have a confirmed date and time for your advanced imaging (before your imaging is completed), please contact our office so we can schedule your follow up appointment in advance. We will see you as soon as your imaging is completed to go through the results together and plan the next stage of your management.

Please contact us to organise a follow-up appointment with Mr Senthi, once your imaging appointment is confirmed.

Why do we require further advance imaging?

Advanced diagnostic imaging helps determine the cause of an injury or condition. These imaging tools let us “see” inside your body to get a cross-sectional image of your bones, muscles, tendon, nerve and cartilage. This helps us determine any abnormalities which we can target either non-surgically or surgically. It also helps rule out any problems so we can reassuringly continue with your rehab and recovery.
